Accessing the Student Portal

As a student at the Secondary College of Languages, you have been provided with access to the Department of Education Student Portal.

Please follow the steps below to access the Student Portal and change your temporary password.

Step 1

Go to the Student Portal website

Step 2

The department account login page appears. Enter your:

  • User ID (first part of your DoE email address, e.g. harry.potter3) and
  • temporary password that has been ¬†provided for you

Please contact your teacher if you experience difficulty with your Department of Education account log in.

Step 3

The home dashboard is the first page you see when you log in. The menu is on the left. From the home dashboard, you will be able to send emails to your teacher and personalise how your homepage looks.

Step 4

Set your Secret questions and answers. You will need to do this in order to be able to change your password.

Step 5

  • To change your password, click on the Change password option circled below.
  • The following screen should appear. Type in your current password and create and confirm a new password. You may also wish to change your secret question(s) in this section.

Step 6

G Suite and Google Classroom may be accessed by returning to the home dashboard, and clicking G Suite in the Learning module.
