Discover how you can take your next step in language studies at the University of Sydney.
University of Sydney offers a large selection of language subjects that cover Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. They also have overseas exchange, short-term and in-country programs that will broaden your skills through language and cultural immersion.
In 2023, the University is hosting free events and resources for high-school students.
Date: Thursday 27 July, 2023
Students are invited to attend the Languages at Sydney (LAS), an experience program for languages.
LAS is a day event designed to give Stage 6 (Year 11) students a taste of language-learning at the University of Sydney and a chance to hear about the benefits of language study beyond high school.
Languages offered at Sydney are: Arabic, Chinese, Classical Hebrew, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Modern Greek, Modern Hebrew, Sanskrit, Spanish, Ancient Greek and Latin.
