Enrol
Join us at Secondary College of Languages as we prepare to welcome new and returning students for the 2026 academic year, where language learning is not just an academic pursuit but a journey of cultural discovery and personal growth. Our vibrant and diverse learning community fosters a passion for languages and cultures, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
Each SCL Campus offers a different selection of courses and class formations are subject to enrolment numbers and teacher availability.
Ready to enrol?
We’re excited to welcome your family to our College community! To begin your language learning journey, start by reading through the Enrolment Booklet for all key information.
How to enrol with us
Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. Once you have read through the 2026 Enrolment Booklet and confirmed your child's eligibility, complete the Enrolment Application Form and relevant appendices.
If your child is applying for a Year 10 to 12 course after 27 February 2026, it is considered a late enrolment. You will need to complete and include Appendix 1 with the enrolment application. Late applications may be accepted under certain circumstances, which will be reviewed case-by-case by the SCL Principal.
For Year 10 students applying for a [Language] Continuers course or a [Language] in Context course, make sure to include the relevant Appendix 2 or 3 with the enrolment application.
Students wishing to skip a year in a language course should submit a completed Appendix 4 with supporting document. Approval will be decided by the SCL Principal on a case-by-case basis.
Acceleration is available for Year 9 students showing advanced potential in achieving both Year 9 and 10 outcomes by the end of the school year. The final decision on acceleration will be made by the SCL Principal.
Once your enrolment application is received and approved, our office staff will be in contact to welcome your child to our school. We are here to help, so contact us to if you have any questions or want to find out more about how we can support you before your child starts at our school.
