Celebrating our languages and communities
Recognising outstanding Korean students
The NSW Korean Language Teachers Association (KOLTA) held an awards celebration for Korean students who achieved outstanding results in the 2024 Higher School Certificate.
Congratulations to the following students and their teachers Ms Diana Shin and Ms Jinyeong Kim at the Strathfield Campus, who achieved the top 3 places in the state in Korean and Literature:
- First place: Seoyeon Kim
- Second place: Yohan Park
- Third place: Shua Yang.
Everyone Belongs - Celebrating Harmony Day at Bankstown Campus
On March 22 2025, Bankstown Campus proudly celebrated Harmony Day, embracing this year’s message: “Everyone Belongs.” The day was a vibrant celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity and a reminder of the importance of inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all.
Harmony Day is a powerful reminder that our differences should be celebrated, not feared.
Celebrating our Year 12 Students!
As we wrap up Term 3, we took a moment to celebrate the remarkable achievements and memorable experiences of our Year 12 HSC students. It marked a significant milestone as they prepare to graduate, stepping into a new chapter of their lives filled with promise and opportunity.
Celebrating Success at Secondary College of Languages
Our college was among the distinguished awardees at the 2024 Public Education Awards held at Sydney Town Hall. Our College's remarkable accomplishments in enhancing teaching and learning in languages were recognised with the prestigious Secretary’s School Achievement Award.
A Spectacular Harmony Day Event at The Hills Sports Campus
Students and staff from The Hills Sports Campus came together in a vibrant celebration of culture and connection, showcasing their languages, traditions and community spirit for Harmony Day. Students showcased their cultural heritage through a range of captivating performances from traditional dances to musical renditions.
Fairfield City Mayor's Youth Achievement Awards
Narmin Sheeto, Year 12 student of Arabic from Liverpool Boys Campus received the Fairfield City Mayor's Leadership Awars. Narmin was nominated for her immense enthusiasm; her continuous readiness to assist on Campus matters with the organisation of events.
